ACNC: Peace, Capability, Learning, and Intelligence
ACNC aims at a new positive vision to human psyche as called Positive Psychology in APA Statement in 2011.
After an era of merely biological, psychological or social approaches, eventually in 1980s WHO emphasized on the effect of all biological, psychological and social factors as a whole on mental ability and disability of humans. Using technologies based on data processing and computer science in medical science have resulted in a huge evolution in diagnostic services (e.g. endoscopy, echocardiography, MRI, CT scan) and therapeutic services (e.g. replacing open heart bypass surgery with closed heart surgery such as coronary angioplasty or PCI; using laparoscopy for surgeries without cutting). To keep pace with other sciences, neuroscientists turned to modern data processing technologies and computer sciences for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
Technologies such as Neurofeedback, qEEG, and rTMS are approved by FDA, CE, American Psychology Association since 1997 and American Psychiatry Association since 2003, and are being employed in 27 developed countries. ACNC offers services based on these modern and approved technologies to its clients.
ACNC believes that medication in not the only solution for mental disorders. Precise examination of problems and selecting right methods (modified lifestyle, psychotherapy, interpersonal relationship skills, and life skills education) helps to prevent mental disorders and reach mental health. Presenting documents or visualizing brain function and comparing brain function of problematic and normal individuals leads to accepting treatment more easily. This way, clients have a wide range of choices from biological treatments like medication to modern technologies like neurofeedback and rTMS.
ACNC: Research, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Education
therapeutic services in validated scientific areas based on approved international standards. In areas that services and methods do not have approved effectiveness, ACNC collaborates with universities and volunteers to conduct research projects. ACNC runs organized educational courses for specialists and researchers to improve their knowledge and expand these new technological services.
ACNC: A New Path for Performance Enhancement of Athletes, Managers and Artists
Employing neurofeedback on AC Milan players and Olympic champions like Abhinav Bindra (the first Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympic Games) keeps alive the hope for scientific activities in different fields.
